Day 1: Independent travel to Lucerne with free afternoon. Recommended a trip to Mount Pilaus on the steepest railway in the world. Overnight Lucerne.
Day 2: William Tell Express connecting to the beautiful Tocino region of southern Switzerland. Overnight in Lugano.
Day 3: The Centovalli railway will take you to Domodossola, past deep gorges and mountain waterfalls. Cross the Simplon pass by bus connecting Italy to Switzerland. Overnight in Saas Fee.
Day 4: Travel by bus and rail to car-free Zermatt, at the foot of the Matterhorn. Arrange additional excursion to Gornergrat. Overnight in Saas Fee.
Day 5: Visit Montreux, the Pearl of the Swiss Riviera on the shores of Lake Geneva. Afternoon trip by cog railway to Rochers-de-Naye with and with great views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 6: Golden Pass Panoramic railway takes you from vineyards of the Riviera through the mountains to Interlaken on Lake Thun. Free afternoon. Recommend a visit to the Harder via funicular with a great view of the Jungfrau Alps. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 7: Independent stay in Interlaken. Return to airport or an extension of your journey. Ask about optional extra night in Zurich.
